Hi friends I just wanted your suggestion about automated news website I am trying to build. www-techadvisor-dot-com and www-publicnewstime-dot-com are using the exact same word by word copy artticles on their pages. Even though they are getting very huge ammount of traffic. My question is how do they do it and does google don't care about copied content? Thanks.

I have said for a long time, in my opinion duplicate content tends to be an issue when it's on the same site, otherwise, press releases etc would not work.

Google is also more interested in pure plagiarised content, and if an original owner files a DCMA, then the site copying would get hit.

Auto generated content is a different kettle of fish and as yet, probably isn't on Googles radar, looking at some of the garbage sites out there.

there is no such thing as a duplicate content penalty even google says that.
a few years ago matt cutts also made a video about it and mentioned that at least 25% of the web is duplicate content (think of linux MAN pages and such).
