main keywords dropped from page 1 to page 7 
Huge Google Update This Week or Not?

yeah there was google update my 90% keywords dropped from top 10 to to 80. anyone can help me to recover my website??

i dont think its because of "update" you just did things bad in the past.

When the update has released by that time I have seen a drop in keywords ranking and everything is fine.

I regularly track/spy 5 - 7 affilaites sites. All of them having traffic of 5k+. One of them saw a drop of 30%, other 9% and other 23% and all of them with similar drops. There certainly a drop.

It's pretty clear to me that based on every major SERP metering service (MozCast, Algoroo, etc, etc) that something HUGE is still rolling out.
It clearly isn't the snippets as some have guessed, as this is prolonged. If I had to venture a guess I'd say it's something core to Google, but not a direct link-based move (ala Penguin) because we'd be seeing people complaining about movement. If I had to guess I'd say it's something ESSENTIAL but indirect, like indexing. This would cause huge waves, but not directly screw people's rankings right away... pretty much what we're seeing. Could also be something related to socials.Google advancing immunity to NSEO could have a similar effect, but we'd see people bragging about "recovering" in that case.
Have any of you guys noticed a difference in indexing rates?

Good guess, ThopHayt, I'd say. From my obervations: It's not offpage/links related at all. Some sites I see moving upwards steadily, for pretty competitive terms, have a surprisingly weak backlink profile. If there are huge movements, they are on keyword/page level, but not on site level. Looks like a bit like Panda on subpages level to me, although it doesn't seem to be about the content quality/amount of content, more about a different definition of search intent.
As far as indexing is concerned: Slower, although Googlebot seems to be more active than usual.

You're right about Googlebot, it does seem to be working overtime these past few days. If it's not off-site related at all could it be related to on-site page interlinking perhaps? Or, as they seem to often do, perhaps Google is rolling out multiple core but unrelated changes at once in order to muddy the waters and confuse blackhatters. I think the effects of these changes will soon start to be noticed either way...

Bought an expired .us around 8 months ago with a limited, but clean link profile. Filled it with 100% Multiblogger content scraped from search engines. Made the content related to original niche of the domain. It's not a niche I normally work with so I just left the site idle and never built a single link. After reading this thread checked the rankings. It's ranking page 1 - 3 for some competitive terms. A lot of my sites with handwritten content are seeing some dips and limited improvements on some keywords. It's funny how a site with scraped/spun content is outranking others
