Huge drop in followers

So I'm using just 1 twitter account to promote my YouTube videos & channel, and today a bunch of people who've been following me started to unfollow me because I'm not following them back.

What should I do to get followers and keep them?

Also I'm a vlogger on YouTube so should I follow everyone back that makes YouTube videos?

So I don't think following other vloggers is a good idea because they all PM you.

Maybe I should find people who say there vlogger fans or something.

That's probably why. Twitter is huge on reciprocity and a lot of people will unfollow you if you don't follow them back. In fact, I'd wager that most random people that follow you are just doing that for the follow back and don't have much interest in you personally.

It's not a big deal to follow people back. You can create lists for people you want to see tweets from, and leave your "home" tab for those you don't really care to see. Lots of people do it, especially those that follow everyone back.

Another alternative is that you bought Twitter followers, and the owners of those accounts unfollowed you.

They did followed you so you will follow them back and probably most of them are bots. If you don't want to follow them back, there is nothing you can do about it to keep them.
