Hello, I'm just wondering if I'll get in trouble if i make an anime streaming app and market it through my Network of instagram anime account that has 1.4M total followers.

Of course, I'm not gonna publish the app on Google Play nor the App Store, I'll have a landing page with a download button.

i want to know if i'll get in trouble doing this, i can easily get 100K installs for the app.

im living in a Third world country.

Did you really have to ask? Of course you can get in trouble. It's not like copyright doesn't exist in third world countries.

had to ask if someone tried this outside of Google Play, i've seen a lot of people publish apps and market them in social media, and tthey dont even upload the animes, they"re just using an API.

Google Play or not, it's still illegal.
 
You can try publishing apps in anime niche and try monetizing your app. If you are confident about your audience converting.
 
It can really work, if you followers notice a simple and better way to get access to anime most likely they will download the app and install it just put it as an option to use not like a you must use it go now.
 
Instead of an app why not create an anime website? I think a website is better than an app
 
This is a definitely most do i know people of 3 tier country that do this and make good $$ no legal problems at all.

You can do it, but there are problems because of copyright.
