Huge Adsense RPM drop

Anyone else noticed a huge RPM drop in the past few days/weeks? My organic traffic is going up but my RPM tanked for some reason. Still the same amount of adsense clicks (pretty much on the same pages) but daily earnings dropped from around $40/day to around $5-10/day... White hat site, no duplicate content, about 35k monthly users, Finance niche. Can't wrap my head around why it's happening.

Our RPM dropped from 100$-80$ to 20$-15$

Seems Pre Recession hit?

It might be temporary because of the season . Will recover soon if there is no manual penalty on your website.
