As some of you may have noticed, I have been observing Facebook's behavior for quite some time now. Two weeks have passed, how's it going on your end?

With my pages? They are on semi-hiatus/ stealth mode status. Nothing significant with the reach. In fact, it is still at a low rate but far from zero, thank goodness. There are more activities and exposure now, unlike a month ago. However, it is still not what we all want.

I am waiting for Mark's announcement anytime soon, but I might not be surprised if my traffic would go down real low with whatever he has to say.

I think online marketers need to say goodbye to Mr. Z until he realizes what he has done.

My reach is a little better but only because I pay for adverts . Im losing money every day. Ive seen alot of big pages go down and more are stopping rev share payments. Ive also been ripped off by a big page who I shared links for. They claim they are going bust. But how? They do not advertise and they have free traffic. Basically been ripped off.
 
Ive also noticed adsense adverts advertising Facebook?

Since when has Facebook needed to advertise themselves on google. Its a sign up for Facebook advert. That shows me that Facebook are losing their audience
 
Getting better results with links this week compared to a few weeks ago. Also seems like FB changed the way they report reach numbers so hard to compare but link clicks def doing better this week.
 
So, it all boils down to spending on their ads just to get a significant reach that is not even worth the amount you spent. I think that's a very wrong move, unless Facebook is forcing the high-ranking websites to do the same.

It may be a 'clean up' tattic from Facebook to see who can hold thier own. Clean out the weak Facebook pages and the rest will strive
 
The reach for me is quite normal, with a 100k page im reaching at least 50k people per post.. If you keep a good ratio and don't spam your page you are good to go..
 
Ratio of post: 4 to 5 post published in a day

Ration of images: upload 2 to 3 images

Videos: 3 to 4 video publish

Post Timing: 11 to 1 Pm, 4 to 6 pm 9 to 10 pm
 
A month ago I had a big hit on some of my pages, after doing a lot of research I found out that links were getting hammered on (sometimes known as a soft ban) which would initially chop the reach on everything you post for a matter of days. The algorithm doesn't seem to like the same link being posted, so every 5-7 days I would refresh with a new link and it goes back to normal, not great but better than a 0 reach. The ads aren't doing great either, I feel I'm being ripped off and at one point I was spending more than I was actually making, so like mentioned above I changed the target audience and it done better, still not great but enough to be in profit at the slightest.

One of my pages has near 300k followers and my reach on images averages on around 5-30k depending on quality of post. Videos are slightly more - 20-50k, again depending on quality. Products are lucky to get more than a 1k reach and I only post 8 times per day on the one page.

Anyone got better link reach yet? Im paying for adverts but wasting money as the adverts generate 10% $ of the advert cost.

Can why so many pages folding
 
If you are using fb ads for a adsense site, its not worth it. We stopped ads long ago. The link reach has increased a little but nowhere near what it was. We still get about 4 to 5k visits from facebook daily.
 
Dont know weather to give up with Facebook or keep plowing money into it.
 
Reach for links is getting worst day after day. Paying ads seems the only way but I don't believe it is worth it loosing money for the reach I already had before.. Zuck fucked up he might aswell loose some good content creators in future I hope. God I wish someone made similar social network, people would drop fb instantly.
 
People are dropping Facebook . For whats to share now. Pictures of other peoples food and hoilday photos. There will be less videos and funny posts. And more adverts and family and friends selfies. Facebook wont last
