Howdy Y'all ~~

I'm Texan Tigress. I'd like to thank the creator/s, the Mods, & the BHW 'family' for allowing me the privilege of becoming a part of your community. I am just in the learning stages about this field - but am knowledgeable in others. My husband is extremely tech savvy & let me know about this great group of people. (Thanks Tiger!!)

I'd just like to take a moment to thank all of those in freedom loving countries including my own US of A whom have or are in the Armed Forces for serving,for your sacrifices & for my freedoms! Let's face it - without those brave Heroes none of us would be able to use this internet for our own aspirations as freely as we can in the first dang place now would we? ;-)

I look forward to learning all that I can & to having the privilege of getting to know y'all.

Welcome Texan Tigress!

In case anyone has ANY doubts, I can assure you that TexanTigress IS a 'girl'! (Well, actually a Lady of course). The way that I know is that I am the 'extremely tech savvy' person she mentions in her post, making her my Wife (yep, "Mrs. OldSalt").

After watching me on BHW for quite some time and helping me with my IM endeavors, she became curious as to what BHW was all about. So I made sure it was ok for her to come onboard and here she is.

I'll try to make sure she doesn't make TOO many newbie mistakes... lol (she learns quickly so I'm sure she'll do fine here).

Have fun my Tigress! ;)

To my fellow Texans ~ Dang, now I for sure know where my new home on the web is!! I grew up in the Piney Woods!!

I'm gonna get more edumacated in BHW ways before I start posting ~but I'll stay in touch
 
BTW - she really does talk that way... mostly. ;)

and I have to say, I grew up in the north but have considered Florida to be my 'home' for a long time (where I lived before I joined the Navy) - but after visiting Texas, I found it to be alot like Florida, but with much nicer people. "The Friendly State" really is more than just a motto there.

We are very seriously considering making our next move to Tx :)
 
I'm just me & want to help the world be a better place..Old Salt.& I quite often call ourselves "Frustrated Philanthropist"
I think that every state as well as country have great aspects &people.All have a "few bad apples in the bunch" as well.I don't want my Mom to ever lose her home or have to go to a nursing home..I want to give back to her "in the living years" It is so hard to give back when living so far away.Btw...she taught school for 31 years & Old Salt is on her A+++++++++++++++++++++++++ list !!I'm still tryin to get there lol!!

Haha dont worry. I also just try to help. so please dont feel offended by my post. I really just tried to point out a few things and give "basic internet advice" ;) so you dont get in a fight all of the sudden :)
