I am not sure Obama would have done much of anything different if he really thought it was the French President that he was speaking with.....

BTW, I am NOT for Obama.........just making an observation that Palin reacted quite normally, nothing absurd or silly......let's not make it more or less than it actually was.....

i mean, listen to the howard stern clip above, and they were interviewing 'average joes' and pple think it's funny when they say stupid stuff...

i think it's funnier when pple in govt make asses of themselves

I'm not fan of Obama, but he's run on of the
most organized campaigns in American political
history - and I highly doubt that he would've ever
received the call as his team would have never
allowed it through - I say that and I'm no fan.

The call screener at a local mom and pop radio
station would've noticed it was a prank call or
the high school girl answering the phone at the
local pizza place would've had her doubts.

The call should've never made it to her, even
though these folks are experts, it's quite alarming
that she did not know who the Canadian prime
minister was.

Or the comment about shooting animals from the
helicopter or about seeing Belgium..she did not
realize she was being totally screwed with.

It's not a political issue to me, it's one of national
security. She thought she was talking to the president
of France, what if she mentioned something to him
about the French vote on the UN Security council?

I'm speechless.
