Here is an mp3 of the Howard Stern Show. They sent Sal out to interview Harlem Voters. This is funny at first, but really sad when you think about it. This post is not meant to be political in any way. Just something funny to hear.

you could probably do this in any part of the country,
and with any candidate, and get the same results.

you should see that episode titled 'got a minute?'
from the cbc news show, 'witness'. they had their
reporters ask people stupid questions to see what
kind of a response they'd get.

rather than admitting they didn't know anything
about the topic, most people gave idiotic answers
that showed they didn't know what they were talking
about.

one question (asked of americans) was,
'how do you feel about canada catching silverfish
in u.s.a. waters?'

several people said they were outraged by this action,
and canada should stay out of american territory.

fyi, silverfish are those gross little bugs you often see in
bathrooms and basements.

it was pretty funny! :D

this is absurd! this audio clip is going all over the internet to prove...what?
a quicktalking con-artist used slight of tongue to put words in people's mouths? anyone who has see Jay Leno's famous people on the street interviews asking the simplest questions on current events and politics should not be surprised how superficial people's views are and how little they actually know. and besides that, we dont even know how many people were interviewed. 3 out of how many? why in the world would anyone take howard stern show as a solid survey source? now THAT i find hilarious!

No, it proves that people don't know shit about their own country and support obama because he's black.

I'm voting obama. But I'm not an idiot like those folks in that mo3, and not because of some superficial bullshit either. The man is going to make a great president.

i'd like to know how many people he talked to, but that clip does show that segments of
the public are backing people they know little about.

ten years ago i saw a news clip where reporters asked people questions about recent major
news events. and it was amazing to see that a lot of people couldn't answer simple
questions about stories that were being covered on a daily basis by the news media.

some people said they didn't follow the news because it was too depressing.

haha that was great, the best part was " ya man, I am anti stemcell man"

lets tell the WHOLEstory, and not just the present one

it is true that many blacks may vote for obama because he is black......

BUT

is that any different than whites that will not vote for him because he is black

or

those women who vote for women simply because they are women

or

maybe even jews who vote for jews just because they are jews

or

catholics who vote for catholics just because the candidate is catholic (John F. Kenedy)

or

irish who vote for others of irish decent just because of that irish similar lineage

or

something as simple as Alaskans voting for Alaskans just because their candidate is from Alaska.
-----------------------------------

Man (and woman) have picked who they identify with throught hisory, and believe it or not in this country the only time that it becomes an issue is when it is a non-white male (unless they are not baptist of course)...... usually.

And i actually thought that Obama would be be a "safe" white choice because he does not have black family history in this country. Remember, his mothers side of the family raised him......... all white an actually probably decendents of slave owners.

But hey, what do i know

This is why people should have to pass a test to vote. IT should be on current issues and what not.

It's astounding these people get to vote.

Well, if we stuck by these standards - we'd have about 40 REAL votes coming in each election. Because, quite frankly, people don't know SHIT about what's really going on.

Anyone can "believe" they do when they pay attention to Robo Calls, go to YouTube and hear 1 sided stories about a psychotic lady who's supposed to bring "change" to this country.

Thank god for having opinions in this country, or we'd stay stuck with the same people over and over.

that comment is all over the internet, and that line of reasoning is completely wacked and downright foolish! black voters have supported the democrats in the high 90's since what, the last 30 years, ALL WHITE CANDIDATES! now if they vote in the for a black democrat in the high 90's thats proves they are voting for him because he is black??? could you please tell me on what planet does that make any logical sense?
ironically if obama had been a republican and was going to get a high black vote then your accusation would had some logic to it.
howard stern is one of the many businessmen with a largely white-male audience who knows that racebaiting and debasing black people is extremely lucrative. i am amazed you would would take a radio show known for doing stunts seriously, but hs knows what his audience wants to hear to feel "superior" and scold another group they see as beneath them.
i would remind you of that headline
it wasnt black voters that put bush in office! lol....

No, it proves that people don't know shit about their own country and support obama because he's black.

You're right, because it was hackers that swayed the vote. To be fair though, at least some of them had to be black. It is so easy (albeit risky) to hack those machines, and there are countless how-to's online about it.

But yea, what does bush have to do with black people (obviously) supporting black presidential candidate?

The Stern show, in all seriousness, obviously went and asked a whole slew of people and the few that we got to hear were the stupid-asses.

Irregardless, congress regards 13,000 opinions for every ONE letter written. So, if there were 3 in this clip saying that, there is 39,000 people saying the same exact uneducated/ignorant bullshit.

Someone said earlier that you should have to be able to pass a test to vote.

Now, I won't get into exactly how retarded the whole process is, nor how much of a pathetic lie the stories that US citizens believe in day to day are, but I will point out one thing that should make the test of non issue, at least until the following is addressed:

Why the FUCK are you given a choice to vote in English OR Spanish?

1: You CANNOT vote unless you are at the very least a naturalized citizen of the united states.

2: You CANNOT become a citizen unless you FLUENTLY speak English.

What is wrong with this picture should be staggeringly obvious.

This country is a mess... I am going to keep stacking a little at a time, and best believe that if I ever start making good money, I will not be paying a Dime to taxes. I will be leaving this forsaken hell hole for a country less populated by fat idiot retards.

it starts with the educational system -- the teachers don't care, the students don't care,
the parents don't care. back in the '80s there was a letter in the newspaper (think it was
in the advice column) from a school teacher who said that american students have gone
thru three phases:

1. i want to learn.

2. i don't want to learn.

3. i refuse to learn.

i don't think things have changed much since number 3.

back about 15 years ago '60 minutes' did a show about two schools that were having
problems with low test scores. one school threw money at the problem, while the other
school sent a simple letter to the parents requesting they made sure their kids did their
homework.

the school that threw money at the problem didn't see any major improvement in grades.
but the school that asked parents to make certain their kids did their homework saw a
marked improvement in test results. but something else happened...

some parents would not sign the letter, they said they were too busy. take a good guess
how their kids are probably doing today...

the only students who care about grades are the ones from places like china, korea, japan,
india, and vietnam. while the local yokels don't give a tinker's cuss about school.

when bill gates appeared on oprah he said he was terrified of the future because the school
system was failing... he was right to be worried.

have you heard the prank call that's making the rounds?
it was done by two french canadian comics who pretended
to be the president of france.

guess which governor they called... :D

(it's on youtube)

Here is a simple quiz that they could use:

Fill in the dot next to the answer.

(1) Who is the current president?
(2) Who is the current vice-president?
(3) Who is your senator?
(4) Who is your representative?
(5) Who is your governor?
(6) Who is your mayor?

Would that be fair to everyone?

We'd still only get about 63 voters per
state unless it's a really big state then
it would push 100.

like posted earlier no matter which candidate there's always some idiot that makes them look bad.

Saw an idiot on fox news tonight and this lady was a bitch to kid trick or treaters saying no candy for obama supporters!

Were talking kids, toddlers with parents what a witch and mean spirited, that's what halloweens for though :-), not really was totally uncalled for.

Worse is that she looked to be upper middles class and not a brain in her head.

If she wanted to convert parents to vote McCain a better approach would of been to give candy to all and a pamplet that's pro McCain...then again..

She's a dumb ass not a smart marketer. LMAO

The Stern show, in all seriousness, obviously went and asked a whole slew of people and the few that we got to hear were the stupid-asses.

Nah. Sal actually only asked a few people, the bit took him like half an hour to put together, tops. People are just that dumb.

N - Avid listener.

Well, I took a different approach this year..

The McCain kids got the amount of candy cut,
and the kids that liked Obama I took their candy
and gave it to all the other kids...

I had not seen that - and that is indeed better than
any "October Surprise". Forget parties and politics
it concerns the hell out of me that the call got passed
to her that easily. Seriously.
