In addition to the Wiki KWs part of BTB's method, I'll stop by niche-related forums and other "social" spots, or conversational places like Yahoo Answers. Thread titles and question titles often end up containing/being good long tails.
Anything phrased as a question is a good starting point. Not only does that format show you what people are typing, but they're already obviously in need of something.
