Alright,
So I have a page that I now manage for a partner of mine and the SEO on page content is a little messy.
Lets say 2 different pages on the site are ranking for [service]+[city] and [service]+[district] plus a mix of long tail related. So in an attempt to get to the front page of google for these keyword im going to distinctively split the 2 keywords one for the [district] and one for the overall [city].
Now my question is the keywords that are ranking on the wrong page right now, lets say its pos number 13 for a district related KW but its on the city page currently being moved to its own page which i will internally link to it from the existing page with anchor text with the KW in it...
How long will it take google to realize and switch the page?
Is this going to hurt me for long or benefit me?
