Okay, I know first page is very valueble but i'm just wondering, how many sites on 1st page those the average internet user click on? Have any statistic experiments been done that could answer my question? I tried to look but all i could find was statistics about click rates, organic vs paid clicks....etc good info but not quite what i was looking for.
edit:sorry didn't explain the question properly, when I said "how many sites on 1st page those average internet user click on" i was asking how many do they open. Like take the web design niche for example, since users are parting with relatively big sums of cash, they will usually open about 10 websites or more before choosing a web design company to ensure they get the best deal. If a user is looking for a cheaper product/service online, i'm sure they will open less websites before choosing which site to buy from, but what i want to know is average amount of websites they would open on 1st page.
