So
so whats you idea of a bidget to make this happen...airdrops, liquidity, marketing and all?
I think you meant to wrote *budget so I'll answer accordingly.
Honestly for a common person I don't even begin to comprehend how much budget you'll be needing for this because you will have to target thousands of users for your airdrop to make them sign up for it, maybe 50k-100k users at least. But making users signup for your airdrop is gonna be the least of your concerns, you know why? Because of lack of liquidity, I'll explain more in answer to the quote below since I don't want to write the same thing twice.
common man hmm, to make money from the coin you need promotion and marketing. just Same like a aff site, amazon review site etc2. as airdrop you have the token, and you can create it yourself, just give it out as airdrop, those bot at telegram and discord can be copied easily from gifthub. there is no magic involved lol.
I really don't think you quite understand the depth to liquidity of the crypto, as again I am no expert, this is a healthy discussion and my information can be wrong/incomplete.
Take an example what you are suggesting right now is that lets say you create your own currency, not crypto but really your own currency that you will print and hand out to people and it can be circulated physically, lets call the currency Elvlin. You give it out to 1000 people, since you are printing it yourself, you gave a lot of it away, you decided the rate that how much 1 Elvlin will be equal to in usd, and you let it circulate. You think it will work out? That your currency blows out and people are running in the streets shouting Elvlin. Will your currency start getting accepted by banks and the Government and the people? Let's ignore any laws in your country regarding creating and circulating currency, you still think it will work? I guess the answer will be 'NO' because there is no liquidity to it, when those whom you gave the currency to will go to market to buy stuff using it then no one will be willing to accept your currency.
What decides the value of any crypto coin/currency?
- Utility of the coins
- Scarcity
- Demand etc.
Even if you hand out your crypto coin to lets say 100k users even then you are still not sure that there will be demand, no one will be willing to buy it. There's no brand to your coin, no authority, people don't know if your coin price will increase and whether it's worth to buy more. Those who have it will be all out to sell it rather than hold it, which will have only sellers and no buyers for your coin which will mean that there is no scarcity, no demand, no utility and thus even after 100k people having your coin it's value will be absolutely "0".
This is why big organizations have it easy as I said, if lets say 'apple' creates its own crypto and hands out to its users, then it will already be having a huge userbase to cater to. They will be having tons of publicity, and smart investors who got hold of the coin through airdrop will be willing to hold it rather than sell it, even smarter ones will be willing to buy more.
Since more will be ready to buy and sell willing to sell, this will create a scarcity and a demand. Apple may go further to the extent of allowing users to exchange coins flawlessly through apple pay, and even make merchants accept the coin in transactions to create a utility of the coin.
There will a brand with the coin, there will be a name, people will know it. People will be willing to buy it in the hopes of it increasing in price, but if you create your own coin then no one will be willing to buy it.
This isn't as easy as creating an affiliate website, marketing with a low budget and bank hard scheme.
I recommend you do more reading on how/why price of any crypto changes why does it even fluctuate to begin with? Then you will understand more about this
