Hello Gentlemen, Today, I have a -quite literally - million dollar question. One of the companies I consult for is a big player (the biggest) in affiliate marketing within the gambling industry. Right now, I am heading a casino project, and I am stuck on something I am trying to figure out: how to get EN traffic from locations other than the US - where online gambling is not authorized and where we don't offer any games. Let's say you had to put up pages to target traffic from google.co.uk, google.com.au, or google.ca - not being a local business, I don't want to cheat by placing any code to show up on searches where I don't belong - but, is there a way for me to optimize my site so that it ranks better for users in the UK, Canada, Australia and not for people in the States? Are there fact...ehm...signals I could send to our beloved G. to tell them - "Hey! I deserve to be seen in UK and Australia, too!" Right now, we have very good rankings for highly competitive Kws on google.com but fairly miserable ones on those other versions and - the irony of it - although the competition is allegedly higher on .com, the revenue is somewhere else. Any suggestions?
