Good question in the past French give the ferret the name of Polecat meaning cat who steals chickens so they are like the ultimate enemy of the ferrets even worse than English vs French much more extreme

In the USA they allow deer meat to be donated to the poor after hunting season.
Sounds good for us Deer is considered a fancy meat you get inexpensive in places normally.
