How to Use PPC and CPA Offers: A Starter

Hello Fellow BH's,

I'm looking to get into the world of paid advertising, I'd like to start with PPC.

Let's say I have a CPA offer, where the person can win a free widget.

Is this the process:

1. I make a website. (I add posts, and all the required stuff to get a good quality score)
2. I have a page on the site where I tell people about the CPA offer. (Wow I just found this awesome contest where I can win a free widget! here is the link to the contest) [more cleverly written copy, of course)
3. The page has the CPA offer link.
4. The people click away from my site to the CPA offer.
5. Cash checks and get a tan?

Is this how it works? I'd like to try FB or Adwords. Cheers

If you do choose to use FB, to market with, you will need a fan page, too, because it is not so often websites get accepted for FB ads, if that is what you meant.
else i will recommend you to start with a blogger blog, or something similar, and write some good post for your keywords, to see how it goes, and then when you have earned some money, go buy a domain and hosting, but it is you who decide how you want it

2) put engine and transmission
3) chop top of car--- make convertible
4) pick up hottest chick in the city...
5) drive to beach with hot chick.... meet some guy from BHW that know nothing about PPC.

You gonna lose your ass. You have push incredible traffic to convert CPA for the most part, and PPC is very expensive. You will be broke before you finish testing, unless you already know how to test traffic for this market.

but hey, good luck, not my money...

Haha - The vibe I am getting is:
"JMintheBH is a fucking idiot for thinking it's this easy"

Of course there is a load of things to do at each step, but I wanted a general outline of what to do. In your example, you'd then research how to find a good engine, how to install the engine, how to convert the car to a soft top, and so on.

I was just looking for an outline..a starting point.

Do people not promote CPA offers with PPC? Am I totally looking in the wrong direction?

You make it look easy.. Your method require a lot of hardwork and dedication. Goodluck bro!

It is a trial and error kind of thing...
but errors cost money.

It takes a lot of split testing.
and split testing takes time and money.

Do not be fooled by people saying they know of people spending $500,000 a day on PPC.....
they might be spending that... but I doubt they are making money.

99% of the people that try CPA using PPC fail.

Keep in mind that just being motivated with the "I never fail... I never give" attitude can actually hurt you.

That just means you are stubborn.
Internet Marketing is about being flexible.
Knowing when to give up and start something new.


All internet marketing be it CPA or other..... is about thinking out of the box.

If you constantly think out of the box... then you will make money with most of the Internet marketing avenues.

If you are use to following other people's guides.... then you will fail.

People always say... I succeed at everything I try..... except CPA.
The reason is that they never succeeded in anything... they just copied.
They copied something that worked..... and then attributed the success to themselves.

Being a copier will never make you money in this field.... being an innovator will.
