I have a website with 15.6K traffic on ahrefs. If I want to give this some other person with complete transfer. What is estimated cost of this?
And which platform is best websites for this.

If it's a WordPress website, you can export the site using plugins like all in one wp migration plugin, then transfer the domain name to the other person. After that, they'll need to connect it to their hosting account, install wordpress, and import the site.

What will be traffic value of this 15.6K monthly?

If traffic is stable and niche is good, sell on Flippa for faster deal. If you have real earnings, go Empire Flippers for higher valuation.

For selling, you can check Flippa or similar marketplaces. If there’s little income, expect a lower valuation.

The valuation is not based on traffic but on revenue. If the site is not generating any revenue, then it's difficult to estimate the price. Most buyers expect 2-3 years worth of monthly recurring revenue for price. You may estimate the revenue roughly based on the niche, but it'll be difficult to convince the buyers.

Website value is usually based on monthly profit, not just Ahrefs traffic, and most buyers care more about earnings stability than traffic alone. If the site makes money, it can usually sell at a much better multiple, but traffic-only sites are valued lower. Flippa works for smaller deals, while Empire Flippers is better for more serious buyers and smoother transfers.

If your site isn’t generating revenue, the price will be relatively low even with 15K traffic.
Buyers care more about profit and traffic quality than just Ahrefs numbers.

While traffic alone does not determine a website's price, it remains an important factor. Traffic is a valuable indicator; revenue generation and long-term sustainability are the primary drivers of a website’s true value.

A monthly traffic volume of 15.6K is a positive indicator; however, the actual value depends largely on how effectively that traffic is monetized. Websites that generate revenue through advertisements, affiliate marketing, or services typically achieve higher valuations. In contrast, websites without established income streams are valued more conservatively, based on their potential rather than proven performance.

Buyers generally evaluate several key aspects, including revenue consistency, traffic stability, niche quality, and the reliability of traffic sources. Sustainable and well-established traffic tends to increase overall value.

For transactions, commonly used platforms include Flippa and Empire Flippers, which facilitate the buying and selling of websites.

I understand your points. Let me do this as well.

Value mainly depends on monthly profit, not just traffic.

Most sites sell around 20x–40x monthly profit depending on quality, niche, and stability. ()

If your site isn’t earning yet, price is usually based on traffic + SEO value, so it could be anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.

Best platforms to sell:

Flippa (all levels)
Empire Flippers (higher quality sites)
Motion Invest (small–mid sites) ()

So first calculate your monthly profit, then apply a multiple — that gives a rough estimate.

Ahref traffic alone is not enough for most investors create/restore the website and monitor the traffic with GA and GSC also monetize it only after you gather enough data you can ask for 32x of the monthly revenue for a long term investor

Ok

Thanks for the information.

15k traffic is a good start but the real value depends on how it’s monetized, If there’s steady income it’s easier to price if not it’s more subjective

The value usually depends on niche, traffic quality, revenue, and how stable the rankings are. A site with 15.6K Ahrefs traffic could sell anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars depending on monetization. Platforms like Flippa or Motion Invest are commonly used for website sales.

For a WordPress-based website, the migration process is quite straightforward. You can export the complete site using tools like the All-in-One WP Migration plugin, transfer the domain to the buyer, and then they can point the domain to their hosting server, install WordPress, and import the exported backup.

Websites are usually valued at around 24–36x monthly profit, not just based on traffic. If the monetization is good, the price can still be quite high even with 15k traffic.

For safe sales and full transfers, people commonly use Flippa, Empire Flippers, or Motion Invest.

15k traffic is not bad, people do buy sites like that if the traffic looks genuine and consistent. the value depends more on niche and earnings, not just ahrefs numbers You can try selling on flippa is is simple and many users are active there.

Website valuation is often based on the monthly income multiplied by 24.
