Hello Everyone :)

A while ago I started using Reddit Ads to promote one of my site's money-pages.

Once the user clicks on the Reddit ads and lands on my article page, then he'll find my affiliate link button that will take him to the product's page where he can make the purchase.

In my article page, I've been getting some clicks from Reddit, I found the Reddit referrer URL from Google tag manager/Analytics.

My question is, how can I track the conversions in my affiliate dashboard (ex: Clickbank, impact, or company's in-house program, etc...), so that I know which ones are coming from Reddit?

I've been really scratching my head around this, and I can't find a solution yet :)

Any help would be much appreciated :)

each network should have their own tracking pixel / script for tracking conversions, so you should contact those networks and ask for instructions on how to set up conversion tracking... although, I think that Clickbank does this automatically for all affiliates.

Hmmm, that's very interesting. Thank you for this valuable information.

So, I shall contact them. So, I'm guessing if the pixel isn't automatic, it must be then a code that I need to add to my pages?

not necessarily to your pages, sometimes the sales tracking code must be added to the final page (that paying customers get redirected to AFTER they purchase), and if you don't have access to that page...

Yes, I don't have access to that final page where the customers make their payment, because I'm an affiliate, so the page of the seller is out of my hands.

But is it possible that some of the tracking affiliate dashboard of companies might detect the utm parameter of my article's page? Because if that's possible, I can then put the link of my article with UTM parameter in my ad, and from there perhaps once the user clicks on the affiliate link and is redirected to the final page that utm might be transferred.

Just to clarify, the utm parameter won't be in the affiliate link, but only on the article page link.
