Hi, I'm currently working in Thailand and I'd like to know how to target the US market as much as possible on Threads. When I look at my Threads statistics, I reach a lot of Mexican and Indian listeners. I think it's all about the instagram WarmUp but I feel like there's something missing to really reach 100% of the US market, maybe more warmup time or a Us proxy.
Thanks for your help!

The warmup method works, but I'd also try US-specific content themes and language to resonate more.

using a US proxy and warming up your Instagram with more US-based interactions, content, and hashtags can really help shift the algorithm toward a US audience.

Targeting any region is just targeting influencers from that region

Cibler une région revient simplement à cibler les influenceurs de cette région
Mais quelle est la véritable solution pour recibler mon audience principale, à savoir les États-Unis ? Qu'auriez-vous fait à ma place ?

I feel you targeting the US from Thailand can be tricky. A US proxy and engaging with US accounts/hashtags could help. Also, posting during peak US hours and using a US VPN might improve your reach. A longer warm-up and a small US-targeted ad could help too!

You need US mobile proxy.

ok I'm thinking of using a 4g US proxy setup with shadowrocket/ 3 days of insta warmUp with interaction with US content+ Open the threads account after 3 days and 30 min of warmup before the first publication. Do you think that with this method I'll finally be able to boast the US audience?

J'utilise un proxy mobile américain mais j'ai l'impression qu'il y a des fuites et qu'instagram remarque qu'il y a des incohérences entre le proxy 4g et la connexion 4g/wifi que j'utilise en Thaïlande.
English please

Regarding your leak concerns (#9), just matching the US IP with a mobile proxy might not be enough. Instagram likely checks for consistency across the IP, system timezone, language settings, and browser fingerprint – this is where anti-detect browsers really help maintain that full US profile consistently.

Hey jagency,
You should use a US proxy or VPN consistently to train the algorithm. Warm up your Instagram by engaging with US-based content and followers. Post during peak US hours and use region-specific hashtags and trends.

I use an American mobile proxy but I have the impression that there are leaks and that instagram notices that there are inconsistencies between the 4g proxy and the 4g/wifi connection that I use in Thailand.

So if I've understood correctly, the US 4g proxy is essential for targeting the US market. Between a phone with a 4g proxy and an antibrowser, which would you recommend? I have the impression that the reach is better on the iPhone.

Phone over browser much better

The best thing you can do is to scrape data in order to reach your targeted audience. I'm working from Mexico and scraping potential followers and client from the US and Europe, I do it with a tool called Give Me Data, and it delivers good quality results including all data available on the user (usernames, followers, following, emails, phone numbers and of course - location). It doesn't involve any proxies or vpn's, so quick and easy results.
This is their website, check it out it might be exactly what your looking for: https://www.givemedata.co/

What i can suggest is to interact with other US based followers. Instagram is not lie tiktok where it uses your simcard location to recommend new content. Instagram targets worldwide. That being said, if someone from India is interacting with the correct group of people; he/she may be able to reach us audience

I recommend you to try interact with US profiles, follow them, like their content in natural schedule + for sure it's better to use good quality US proxies during this process of warming up account. I recommend to use mobile proxies, it should give better results in this case than residential proxies

Thank you for the information, it's very interesting, but I don't understand the purpose of collecting all this data. Should I be gathering all this information to see what kind of content users are subscribing to, and then follow and interact with those same accounts? Specifically, on Instagram, what do you actually do with all this data to target the US market?

P.S.: The site is down.

"I was actually thinking about buying and logging into a US Apple ID, getting a US eSIM, and using either a 4G proxy or a US VPN. Do you think that could work?
