Okay, I get you, but maybe you should try hiring someone from a country with better work ethics and more professionality? Germany, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Austria etc. would all deliver great work and you wouldn't run into a risk of someone asking you for more money. From what I read so far (also his messages) he seems unprofessional, not formal, can't even speak english well. I mean, how can you even expect quality from this guy? He asks you, his client, for more money in order to pay completely random stuff. What the fuck.
I have experience hiring various of programmer from different country.
But without a doubt, Ukraine is the best once when it comes to quality.
Hiring programmer is not an easy task. Sometimes it took me 2 weeks just to find the right person.
Like you're receive 60 proposal(usually from the person that you just invited), thn you filter and filter and left with 5. From those 5, it gonna takes you at least 1 week before you can make a final decision.
For the first 5 months, that guy is very professional, he's very hard working person i ever meet.
What ever i ask him to do, he will just do with no question asked. Even the task that i asking him to do is very complex.
His problem solving and creative thinking are very higher too.
Suddenly everything changed in December. Too bad, i imagine so many future project with him.
Btw I just talked to his company. And the company denied that those account is his account. They said that account is fake. Somebody is stealing ther project manager name and photo they said. Lol clearly that's his account, the profile photo both are the same person. Just different picture.
How can it be fake account if the guy already work more than 30 jobs? And thousand of hours.
They said they will contact upwork for this matter.
Think they just try to bulshitting me,
Well at least his company and he know that I'm very serious to sue them if anything ever happen to my code.
