How to stop filler content in AI chatbot?

We use AI to write content, right? But No prompt is enough to stop the AI to write filler content.

What strategy do you follow to get best output here?

I’ve experimenting with AI for non fiction books and so far what I have found that works is

Creating a knowledge dossier that the chatbit has to use for the article

An outline for it to follow. I am big believer in tempting this as well ie illustration information application

Do what I call a pre Prompt before hand and ask “I want to xyz for this audience - here is the knowledge dossier. Based on this what’s the most effective word count to achieve the desired result”

If it comes up short I never ask for more words but for it go deeper and give more Information or knowledge.

Prompting alone won’t remove filler when the source material is thin. Draft section by section and require every paragraph to add one new fact, example or decision. Then run a second pass that removes any sentence whose deletion doesn’t change the meaning.
