This is my guide which I call " Cash in from being funny. Viralness at its peak".
This guide won't be as detailed as its much simpler. But let me know if you have any problems. ( Some things are copy pasted as they remain the same )

1. Overview:
With internet marketing and the land of webmaster's slowly increasing in popularity among the younger folk there has been quite a huge demand in a certain type of site. Many of us younger generation frequent sites like failblog.org for the sole reason it makes us laugh day after day.
Just a random fact. ( Did you know Failblog is actually hosted on Wordpress.com And they are using one of the crappiest Domain Registars out there. 1and1 )
Well anyway in the world of site flipping there has been a spike in demand for these types of sites as the younger generation have the money and are willing to spend it so that they can impress their friends.
Essentially. We have ourselves our niche. So lets setup these sites.
2. Setting up the site
Domain + Hosting
The best place to order your domain name is hands-down, namecheap.com. They offer a free whois guard, which is important to keep your privacy. They also offer a free SSL certificate with each domain as well. Because I'm so nice, I'm even going to let you in on a discount. Use the coupon "SNOWNEEDLE" when ordering and you'll receive a discount on your domain.
For hosting, one of the best services to use is HostGator.com. To save money, use their "baby plan." You can also get your first month's hosting for only a penny if you use the coupon "wordpress" when ordering.
So for under $10, you should have your first domain name ordered, and have your hosting arranged.
Or you can also use sharkspace.com to host your site. Although it does cost $9 a month. You can get it for 50% off for life with the coupon "50offlife" without quote marks. Sharkspace is very reliable and always answers support tickets within 10 - 20 minutes which I find phenomenal. In my opinion its worth spending the few extra dollars and getting on Sharkspace.
Wordpress
If you've never made a website before then you'll definitely want to use Wordpress for building it. Simply put, Wordpress is a content management platform that allows you to organize your content, install beautiful templates, and so much more.

Once you've installed Wordpress it will be easy to manage all your content, and add the tools you'll need to make your website ready to be flipped.
Installing A Theme and Plugins
Wordpress is wonderful to use because it allows you to add themes to your site easily. They made a simpl link on the left side of your dashboard to access the different themes you can add.
Simply click on "Add New Themes" and you'll be able to sort through all the themes available. Once you decide on the theme you'd like to use click on the install button, and then activate the theme.

Installing Plugins
In order to make your site auto promoting and SEO'd, you'll need to install a few plugins.
It's a pretty straight-forward process to installing plugins. Simply click on the add new plug-ins link, and then enter the plug-ins you want into the search box that follows. Once you find the plug-in that you want, click the install button, and then activate the plug-in.

You'll need to transfer the files into the appropriate plug-ins folders if you wish to do a direct install using FTP.

Content
Content is easy. As these are pictures. Just leech them from other sites like failblog and such.
Google works wonders. Try getting around 50 funny images that arent as well known. This should only take around 5-10 minutes.
Post them up and have one image per post.
3. Traffic
Now this is where the meat of my guide is. This is dead simple. But can guarantee a HUGE traffic spike to your site that will also remain as long term traffic.
Basically this is where the site title comes into play. We are going to be funny.
What you need to do is go to Yahoo Answers and make a new account.
Make your profile look realistic and then you are going to post a question. But this is going to be some very stupid hilarious question. Basically one that someone would facepalm when seeing. Something that you could label FAIL.
Once you have wait a little while. An hour or 2. Then signup a new account on a proxy and reply to that question with an answer that is emphasizing the stupidity of your question. Wait another 30 minutes to an hour. And then choose that answer as the best answer and reply with something underneath that makes it look like you believe it.
Some examples that spring to mind are these:
I think you get the idea.
Now see how the picture before is watermarked. Well screen shot your Yahoo Answer fail and do the same thing. Go into Paint / Gimp / Photoshop or whatever you use and watermark it with a nice looking text of your domain. Also add the word FAIL somewhere on it. ( In an empty space though )
Now all you have to do is submit your image around the web and get it viral. Don't worry this is darn simple with the way the internet is currently.
Just submit your image to the following sites:
Digg
reddit.com
stumbleupon
Other Chan Sites
Other Social Bookmarking sites
Fail Blog
Other Fail Sites
Teen Forums
Any where really where teenagers hang out. It takes about 2 hours and you can have it submitted to a lot of places.
And within a few days it will become viral and send visitors by the bucket load to your site.
Thats all there is to traffic. Your posts that you have on your site will also be auto bookmarked and auto promoted with the plugins I provide you with. And a lot of SEO is being done on it.
4. Revenue
Seeing as you have a lot of teenagers coming to your site. Think what teenagers like best.
Adsense usually wont work here as they are wary of ads and don't click them.
However CPA does. Free Iphone offers and the like are saturated. But all teenagers for the most part like gaming. Especially these little nerdy ********** ones.
Kaching we have found an easy revenue source. CPA ads for games that have just been released.
Add these around your site in areas that get a lot of views ( header and the sidebars ) . Common sense really. Who looks at the footer these days? ( well I do. I like seeing what CMS a site is running )
You will get a crap load of clicks and quite a number of leads. Your conversion rates will be decent keeping your AM un suspicious. And you dont even need to mask anything as this is all whitehat. These will be legitimate leads too as these are targeted viewers who are interested in free games.
5. Flipping the site
Forget Flippa unless the first strategy falls through.
Most of these teenage webmasters can be found on the dreaded forums.digitalpointDOTcom and thus their Sites Section in the BST is the best place to sell. And you can usually expect a sale of your site of over $100.
When selling your site state everything as it is. Explain traffic and revenue and show screen shots.
You will have eyeballs engaged and jaws dropping as these teenagers start a bid war to get your site with their credit cards in their hands.
Recieve payment and make sure they have good reputation before you push the domain and give them the site files.

- Platinum SEO - Another of the BEST TWO SEO plugins.
- WP-affiliate - automatically create affiliate links inside your posts, or generate CB links for your keywords on-the-fly.
- Yet Another Related Posts Plugin - boost your pageview, works with RSS too.
- Delete Duplicate Posts (unlimited) - Delete duplicate posts, when you are fetching content.
- Sociable - Give your visitors options to submit your articles to bookmarking sites.
- Adsense Deluxe - O'course Adsense ads management.
