Traffic to a website->AD/CPA Offer->Money
It's quite simple, just do some reading.

I would rather work with a reputable CPA network than go direct.

You risk not getting paid if the advertiser decides not to pay you. With REPUTABLE CPA networks, it's a different story.

To each their own, I guess.

choose a niche, go after it, drive traffic, you can use CPA offers or adsense to make money out of it. Simple as that.
do some research here in the forum, this forum has a lot of info

id read up on some guides. someone else said it but cpaleads contentlockinghelp site is very well done albeit a bit on the basic side but thats probably good for you.
google around and read some guides then pick a niche and start finding ways to develop traffic basically

Search for "iPhone giveaway" on YouTube, Filter the search with Today, Click few of them and click the link on the description.. You will know how to start CPA
First try promoting surveys / One Field Submit and later on you can try Pay Per Sale..
