How to send 2M emails?

Hi there people!

This is my first post since I'm here and hope somebody will give some valued advice.

I have a 2 milion email addresses database and I think this is a really good asset. But...I can not find the way to reach these people in some way so my emails would not be considered as a SPAM or beeing FLAGGED.

I asked many people on how could I monetize in some way this asset and most of them told me that an SMTP server would be the solution( SendGrid,Mailgun,SendinBlue.. and so on. But the problem with this SMTP servers is that they want to verify you so they want to be sure that you are not a wanna be spammer or a real spammer actually so for the most of these platforms I did not pass the verification.

I started to make some research on the web and did not find any viable solution.


So for this reason I am asking you. How would you manage to send these 2M emails. I am talking about 8k to 10k per day without going to SPAM and without beeing flaged by any e-mail provider or ISP.

if you want to send to hotmail yahoo you need microsoft exchange smtp other ways you can use zimbra mail or PMTA

Don't.

For various reasons.

- usually those lists are already heavy abused, therefore, open rates will be close to zero
- people didn't sign up to receive those, they will not be happy, your ctr rates will be low or close to 0
- you will damage your domain in terms of spamming
- list needs to be cleaned, for 2M it will cost enough to run a supersuccessful ads campaign. (up to $3-4k)
- if your list is not niche-targeted its useless as well

1. The list is not heavy abused. I know it for sure.
2. This will be a major problem and I agree with you.
3. Yes, I know that my domain will be severely damaged.
4. I dont' understand what do you mean by running a supersuccessful ads campaign?!

I do not think that 2M can be cleaned in a day. How do you do this?

4. Cleaning 2M emails using SaaS can cost a lot, its wiser to use this money to buy facebook ads or whatever.

But if its niche targeted and you have considered all the risks, then this is what I would do:

1. Find cheapest cleaner possible, there are a lot of services out there. I have built my own solution, but its because I can.
2. When list is cleaned, split it by chunks/email providers. e.g - gmail/yahoo, etc.
3. Purchase a lot of email accounts, emails, mail.ru, etc. But this will limit you to about 1k/day per account.
4. Use text spinning for your email text and link cloaking.
5. Send out email by using email account smtp connection by trying to distribute and split it over various email servers so one email server does not get spammed at once
6. Monitore results and public blacklists for your cloaked and target domain

Another option is to setup your own smtp server, but then IP needs to be warmed up to start sending out such volume.

Forget about SendGrid/mailgun, it wont work.

Always start low, by 10-15 emails per account, distributed over 12hour window and slowly increase the volume.

Anyway, its not an easy task.

Additionaly, you will need your own 'unsubscribe' option included in your email to decrease spam reports. It needs to be visible and easy clickable. Otherwise your domain and sending IP will be burned in the first batches.

Remember, email servers by default looks with 'I don't know you, I don't trust you at all' to new IPs and Domains. Without valid warmup, you will end up getting banned.

I was thinking what else can be done with targeted 2M list of customers.

You could upload it to facebook and create custom audience that is super targeted.

What your asking is possible but you need to warmup your own sending server. And your sending count is 5k or 10k per day which can cover hardly 150k to 300k emails per month only. So plan for higher amount per day.

You cannot expect inbox + mass mailing unless you go with proper warmup procedure.

@Crazyfire, what about rotating proxies? Won't email providers. e.g - gmail/yahoo, etc. block your SMPT connections if they see you keep sending from one IP address?

Split the list into a lot smaller and use different sender's for each.

Sender's can be different emails and or domains with own SMTP etc.
Can easily be done. Not in that niche but know you can do it like this.

Or use good old atomic software also still works I have been told.

Most of the IPs are not meant for mailing only and no proxie providers allows you to use them for mailing or they simply block SMTP ports on their backend.

Inbox happens based on your sending domain reputation and content your sending. Not with any email list you have.

Get 100 x Gmail accounts spin SMTP its possible.

1. Rotating 1000 SMTP mail.ru email accounts + spinning subjects + spinning content + spinning links inside the content

Or besides all the above, we need to rotate email providers also ie. Mail.ru, Gmail.com, Yandex.ru etc.

Just informing you in advance some guys will approach you that we have better server which can do it and really low cost.

DON'T Listen to them, instead listening just block them!

Sending 2 Million emails is cold email marketing project.

As per reading your post it seems like you want to send 2M emails in a month if that's the case you need to use multiple smtp's, these smtp's rate will be 1200-1500 a day with 75 to 80% deliverability rate by doing this you will get openers and clickers use them with better smtp to increase trust and inbox rate.

Repeat the above mentioned step and you will get your golden list of subsout of 2Million email addresses.

Mail.ru is pretty strong at the same time worthless for these kind of SMTP stuff. Even you get 100 to 200 go with gmail or yahoo or outlook only.
