Looking for a (preferably free/cheap) platform to sell a few domains anonymous to the buyer

  1. I don't have to disclose my identity/contact/email etc... to the buyer during the process.
  2. If a TRUSTED 3rd party is required (eg: escrow.com) , that is ok.
  3. Free preferred if not, commission base is next best
  4. Domain parking page showing for sale is needed.
  5. If I have to change registrars, that is ok (currently with namesilo and have privacy included

Does anyone have experience with this? If you'd prefer, DM me.

Check of godaddy auctions, I don't think buyers see your identity. You can surely have domain with other registrars.

Selling a domain anonymously involves taking certain precautions. Consider using a domain broker or third-party platform to handle the sale, masking personal information in the registration details, and using an escrow service for a secure transaction. Keep in mind that legal and ethical considerations are important when selling domains anonymously.

parking your domain and going to go daddy auction their you can sell your domain no need to identity

Selling a domain anonymously involves taking steps to protect your personal information and identity during the transaction. Here are some general steps you can follow:

  1. Use a Domain Privacy Service:
    • If your domain registrar offers domain privacy services, enable them. This service replaces your personal contact information with the privacy service provider's details in the WHOIS database.
  2. Create an Anonymous Email Account:
    • Set up a new email account specifically for the domain sale. Use this email for all communications related to the sale.
  3. Use an Escrow Service:
    • Consider using an escrow service to handle the financial transaction. This way, the payment is securely held until both parties fulfill their obligations. Escrow services can provide an extra layer of anonymity.
  4. Use Cryptocurrencies:
    • If possible, consider accepting payment in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies can provide a higher level of privacy compared to traditional payment methods.
  5. Use Pseudonyms:
    • When communicating with potential buyers, consider using a pseudonym or a business name instead of your real name.
  6. Meet in a Virtual Environment:
    • If you need to communicate with the buyer directly, consider using virtual communication methods like encrypted messaging apps or virtual phone numbers.
  7. Research the Buyer:
    • Before finalizing the sale, do some research on the buyer to ensure they have a reputable history and are not involved in any suspicious activities.
  8. Draft a Confidentiality Agreement:
    • Consider drafting a confidentiality agreement that outlines the terms of the sale and includes clauses about keeping the transaction details confidential.
  9. Limit Information in Listings:
    • When listing the domain for sale on marketplaces, disclose only the necessary information. Avoid providing personal details or information that could lead to your identification.
  10. Consult Legal Advice:
    • Before proceeding, it's advisable to consult legal advice to ensure that your approach aligns with applicable laws and regulations.
Remember that the level of anonymity you can achieve may vary based on the specific circumstances and the platforms you use for the sale. Always prioritize your safety and take precautions to protect your identity during the domain selling process.
