how to see REAL position on google?

I have tried both seoserp.com and web-backlinks.com. web-backlinks showed exact position # 26 while seoserp shows my site at # 31.

so web-backlinks is much better than other.

Google global 2.6 addon for firefox. It has an option to bypass any cookies G might drop to confuse your serps =D

Double check with Msamurai.

Geez that troubled me a lot before.

Open Google Chrome (or Firefox) and use the private browsing. Go to Google and search.

On one of my keywords I am placed #5 on google if I use internet explorer and ranked #2 if i use firefox using no proxies. Even if I copy paste the url after a search from firefox to internet explorer it still gives me different positions.

Do you have a reason to think it's more accurate? Or do you just think it's better because you liked it's result better. LOL

I have a problem with Google Rank. My site ranks in the top four for keyword baby frames. According to keyword research baby frames gets around 1,000 - 2,000 searches a day. Why is my site only get 10 - 20. I would at least expect to get a couple of hundred being in the top. Any help would be appreciated.

Its not so wise to share ur keywords here mate

lol guys, this thread is still alive, well thanks for useful info i guess

You can also try in firefox - "Start private browsing" and than search for your keyword.

Try SEMrush

They use google's database for their results. they have a free and paid version. Downside is they only update once a month but they are very accurate and you can see your competitors also.
