Hello everyone,

I’ve been a member of this forum for almost 10 years now. For most of that time, I was just reading and experimenting with low-budget methods. When I first registered, I was only 12 years old and didn’t have any money to invest, so I couldn’t really start anything serious online.

Now I have a stable job, some savings, and I finally decided that it’s time to build something real. I recently started selling digital products and I’m currently trying to scale. The last few months have been pretty good — for me, “good” means breaking even or making a small profit. This is a big step, considering that for years I was only reading other people’s success stories here and never managed to achieve anything myself.

So my question (and the reason I’m posting) is: how can I scale my sales?
(If this post is in the wrong section, an admin can move it.)

Current metrics:

  • ROAS: 1.12
  • Audience: USA & Western Europe (business owners, content creators)
  • CPM: 15.9
  • CPC: 0.50
  • CTR: 2.02%
  • Conversion Rate: 2.86%
  • Purchases / Add to Cart: 48.6%

I’d really appreciate any advice. I’ve seen people helping each other here many times, which is exactly why I love this forum. I’m also open to working with someone experienced for a reasonable fee if it can help me grow this business.

Thanks for your time, everyone!

Hey, first of all, congrats on getting to this stage!

Scaling usually comes down to a few things...... testing different creatives, audience segmentation, and refining your funnel. For your metrics, your CTR and conversion rate are decent, but ROAS is low, which usually points to either audience fit or ad quality. You might want to test lookalike audiences, experiment with retargeting, or tweak your creatives for higher engagement. Sometimes small changes in ad copy, landing pages, or even pricing can make a big difference.

Also, regarding Business Meta Accounts....account restrictions or past limitations can affect your testing, so having access to fresh ad accounts can make a difference, especially when experimenting with new strategies. For example, polished unrestricted ad accounts from Hong Kong can provide a clean slate, helping campaigns run smoothly and gather data faster without restrictions.

For digital items, make reels around them, and use YouTube Shorts and TikTok Lives to showcase the items; those are good options.

Hey, thank you for answering.

I started testing different creatives and increased my ad spend. I also paid for tracking software so it can give me more accurate data from Shopify to Meta Ads.

I found out that I started getting sales from organic/direct traffic from Google (my site name is probably easy to find), and also organic traffic from the link on my Instagram page. It’s all boosted by the ads, so basically my ROAS is higher.

I managed to scale my ad campaigns to $200 per day and still stay profitable, so I’m slowly getting there.

All thanks to people like you in this forum. Thanks again — stay safe :)

I didn’t think about that — I’ll try it in the next few days. Thank you!

Focus on improving ROAS by optimizing your offer and funnel (A/B test pricing, creatives, and upsells), then scale gradually by increasing spend only on the ad sets that stay profitable.
Got you , I'm thinking about BOGO campaing , we will see how it goes. I tried 50% Email campaing with everyone that didnt purchase but gave me thier Email, was not really successfull, I'll try and see with ads
Thank you for your answer :)

You’re on the right track already, so focus on scaling slowly by improving conversion rate and AOV first, then cautiously increase ad spend on the best-performing audiences and creatives.
