You can reply to a direct message at any time, no matter who posted last.

To find the direct message you want to reply to, click on the envelope icon in the right hand side of the top menu, and click 'Show all...':

Find the direct message you want to reply to and click on it. Scroll to the bottom of the direct message and you will see the usual text editor:

Type your response and click 'Post reply'. Your new message will be added to the direct message immediately and the other participants will be sent an alert.

It's worth noting that you must leave at least 30 seconds between each message you send in a direct message - the system will not let you send more than one message in any 30 second window. This is an attempt to prevent direct message spam.

Sometimes I can write a post but I can't find the reply button. Is this a bug?

Some ad blockers can affect the way you see the forum. We recommend turning them off.

Do we need 15 post/comment reply to a conversation for new members?

I am sometimes hesitant to answer do you need to read a lot to learn the exact rules.

Not to just reply, but you do need it to start one.

A lot of the rules are common sense. When I first joined, I didn't read the TOS and I managed to not get any warnings. There are many members here who don't have the TOS memorised and stay out of trouble.

I would be grateful if you leave information and links about tos.
