How to recover google ranking?

Hi All,

I have spotted two H1 tags on the website. Although the fix is very simple - change the other H1 tag
to either H2 or H3, etc. - I have actually removed one H1 (which was the title of the site) and left the other one
which is the title of the home page. Both titles are in H1 by default. The funny part is that audit report still counts
this as two existing tags - hence poor page score and critical errors. I ran the check through sitechecker.pro

Are H1 tags important for SEO ranking? Do I need to keep only one H1?

Many thanks,
S

Check for any noticeable changes to your backlink profile from any tool like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, SEO SpyGlass or etc. If there's a big drop seen in Backlink Progress graph then you can check your lost backlinks by checking Last Found/Seen Date in next columns which will give a hint as to when you may have lost any.
You can also export the list of your lost backlinks, try to renew or recover your valuable links and also put efforts on creating new ******** links too for balancing the website's backlinks status.
If you're hit by any Algorithm Update or Manual Search Engine Penalty then you must check it in your Webmaster's and fix the onsite or offsite related issues and then request Google to review the site.

Hi all, many thanks for the above suggestions - much appreciated. Is there any trustworthy tool where I can verify and remove poor /toxicbacklinks if needed?
There are many;
Google Webmaster,
Ahref, and
MOZ.
I have listed which I feel are genuine and trustworthy.

If its due to your link count is dropping, then you better add more content and links back to old articles and start building more links. But recovering ranking is a pain in ass.

You use the disavow tool in Google search console. But many think this does little.
Most likely you bought links that Google just deindexed and/or your competition pushed you down the page.

As a wild card is your server 100% up?

Hi, never bought links before but I believe you are correct on Google de-indexing the links - I lost quite a lot since last year. The websites I placed the links on no longer exist

First, you find your website technical errors and all errors fix with add new high-quality content of your website. Now you will do high authority sites backlinks and sharing your website backlinks on social sharing sites. If you target your competitor's, website then you find a new source of backlinks. All are these steps you follow your website definitely recover rank your website. I will also suggest you a perfect SEO audit tool use Raven tools.

Hi all, just subscribed for a 1-month free trial on Moz.com and ran my website through. The results are not promising to be honest. Some of you were right - I lost a decent amount of backlinks (both high-quality and toxic) and experienced a significant drop in ranking. Further to this - my spam score (Represents the percentage of sites with similar features we've found to be penalized or banned by Google) sits at 65% which falls under red/risky category. Does anyone know what attributes effect this score? Can I somehow get rid of this in future?

Hi guys, just a quick please. Maybe someone who's well experienced in seo can give me a neet answer. I am still struggling to recover my serps ranking but the site is slipping down further and further and currently at google 7-8(!!) pages with primary keywords which is absolutely disgusting - hence my question. Is it worth trying to recover the ranking or just abandon it as all the effort and manual hours of work output haven't helped achieve positive dynamics? Just out of curiosity - what would you do if were in my shoes?

Many thanks,
S

Well if you have lost your rankings than you need to again build up the links on your niche and to develop the DA PA of your site and to post good quality content on your website.
