How to recover google ranking?

Hi all,

I know this is been asked and stated numerous times across the BHW and I apologize for this....but have you ever experienced a drop in google ranking? if yes, how did you recover? I presume I've lost ranking due to expiry of back links but I am not 100% sure. I am currently at 2-3 google organic pages and not even coming back up.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If the keyword position dropped, do some ON page optimization for the dropped keywords and build backlinks for the keyword.

I agree that it would be best to look if your on-page SEO is alright before considering off page SEO.

is there any significant rise in backlinks that you can verify with Ahrefs/SEMrush? and also how is your anchor text distribution?

Not sure about SEMrush but Ahrefs seems largely unhelpful. I haven't tried the paid package yet though.

Well if you think its because of expired backlinks, then try to analyze the same through tools Moz or aHrefs and once you identify the pages that has lost the backlinks work on them for the same.

Make backlinks on high tf pages (tumblr or weebly) or buy guest posts there is also a website from where you can see the price of guest posts of different blogs https://www.buysellguestpost.com/

Before you take any action, Frist checks the Penalty if there is any. Then do Audit & find the possible reasons and Competitor Weakness.
After all those steps, take action.

Hopefully, you will get the desired result.

Hi, many thanks for this. I have yet spotted more than 1 H1 tag on the website.

Firslty seo audit and comcare your site with competitors then if your site need any onpage optimization then do it.

Or take some good backlinos either free or paid ones

Go to webmaster and see what spam links you have and you need to remove them first
Than create quality backlinks and update your contents and optimize your onpage

Firstly you should analyze the website and check what is missing in site after that do On-page properly according to your site. After that do off-page with more backlinks in high DA Sites.

Fix the mistakes you did on your page. Analyze your competitor's page and make your page better than them. Create the best Off page campaign for your page and build good valued links.

You use the disavow tool in Google search console. But many think this does little.
Most likely you bought links that Google just deindexed and/or your competition pushed you down the page.

As a wild card is your server 100% up?
