I got an email from a platform I was banned - the email was sent to the email address that is connected to my banned account.

I desperately want to read the email, but I'm afraid that if I open it the sender will somehow know my IP and connect it to my other accounts since I've changed my IP and I'm using it for other accounts now.

The email is waiting for me on Thunderbird. What the fuck should I do?

Blackhat paranoia I guess.

3 things should solve your trouble.

1 log in using any private browser

2 go gmail > settings > advanced > find this:
Preview Pane
Enable the ability to toggle on/off the ability to view your messages side by side with the message list.

Enable it.

3 go gmail > settings (scroll down) to images:
mark this: Ask before displaying external images - This option also disables dynamic email.

2+3 will be enough to block email tracking
(in case your sender has tracker, he won't know that you had a read)

This covers gmail on PC (and MAC too I guess) via mobiles I have no clue, so stick with PC

About IP part, use VPN (you have bunch of free IP's) + private browser, or VPS, no need for a bigger guide, they can't reach you no how.
