Hey everyone,

I’m looking for tips on how to re-upload or repost Reels (or short videos) without getting flagged for being unoriginal or spammy by Instagram.
I've tried ChatGPT's advice of using adjust in Capcut, but I noticed that my views got stuck at 0, and the views get stuck at like 300-500 views when I can average 1-3k per reel.

Thank you.

intressting, i dont have any good sugguestion for you , but im very intressting on what your doing. How do you upload them? With what software? I mean there is a limit per day prbly and try to make the automatic system act like a human? or what is the issue?

I upload 3x a day on 2 accounts both logged in at different browsers (chrome and microsoft edge)

Read and do some research about ''content repurpose''
There are tools that can repurpose the original video.
You can also try to make some adjustments to make the video different, like cut, trim, change the audio, add a filter, edit the colors, etc.

Delete the metadata from reels
Use trending music
Edit a bit the videos.

Yeah, it’s getting tougher to repost without getting flagged. I’ve noticed the same drop in views recently.

IG's algo has gotten stricter lately. Even small edits aren't enough sometime might need to test deeper changes like audio tweaks or overlays to avoid the cap.

Just crop them (make the videos bigger) Got millions of views with this

If you want to do this, I would suggest to get a VA and have them use Capcut to edit the videos. This will make it so that each piece of content is new since they are actually being edited as new content.

There are a lot of moving variables in this. What are you comparing this to? where you're getting those 1-3k views per reel? Is that an already established account with some followers already and this this new account with 0 or negligible followres?

Anybody who knows meta algorithm system for uploading/age a account for reels? I ser lots of people doing american got talent videos. Getting thousends and sometimws millions views!

You can try working with cuts and small edits if it works for your project. In addition to the basics that should always be done, such as changing the audio and always deleting the metadata. The algorithm gets smarter and makes our lives more difficult.

You have to make some edits to bypass their algorithms.

Research ffmpeg batch AV converter, learn how to manipulate metadata, you will pick up more skills along the way.

Reposting or re-uploading Reels can definitely be tricky, especially since Instagram’s algorithm is pretty sensitive about content being seen as unoriginal or spammy. If your views are getting stuck at a low number, it could be that Instagram is recognizing your content as reused.

One thing that really helps is modifying the content more significantly. Just making small adjustments in Capcut might not be enough to make it look fresh to Instagram. Try adding new elements, like a fresh intro, different music, or even changing up the captions. This will make the content feel new and not just recycled.
Another important tip is to avoid adding watermarks from other platforms like TikTok. Instagram doesn’t like content with these because it looks like it's coming from another app, and it could hurt your reach. Also, when reposting, try to avoid doing it too often. If you’re always reposting the same or similar content, Instagram might see it as repetitive, which can affect your views.
Changing up the captions and hashtags each time is a good idea too. Keep things fresh by switching things up, so Instagram doesn’t flag it as unoriginal. You can also try using Instagram’s built-in features like text or effects, because the platform tends to prioritize content created directly within the app.

Finally, check your insights and see if you’re noticing any patterns in how your content is performing. If you’re getting the same low views repeatedly, maybe it’s time to tweak the content or try something new.

How’s it been going so far with these adjustments? Have you noticed any changes?

Been testing this a bit - adding your own captions, changing audio pitch slightly, and slicing the video (literally splitting and re-merging clips) seems to help dodge the detection. Instagram’s algo loves native engagement though, so reposts always carry some risk.
