    I have a website for a very long time but old entries just lost their ranking. Is there any chance to rank up these entries by somehow?
    This is not old information and it is still very informative for people but they just don't get so many links from title page and so on.
    What should be done to rank up again? :rolleyes:

    Sure.

    These are the things you need to do to revitalize your old content:

    - refresh it a bit: add up-to-date info, more compelling and relevant details;
    - consider modifying layouts, designs, call to actions and visual aesthetic on the whole;
    - add rich snippets.

    When done, do the following:

    - check if there are links pointing to the pages with old entries from other pages of your site. Internal links destinations may have changed over time, so you need to make sure that old content pages can be accessed from some other pages of your site.
    - check all external links that point to these pages. If there are any bad links coming from irrelevant or compromising sources, disavow them.

    And finally:

    - generate more external links to your old entries - e.g. you can write guest posts and mention your old pages there, etc;
    - use social media channels to promote your pages;
    - find directories where people are covering your topics and get listed there.

    All that will help you bring your old content to life.
    Hope you will find these tips useful.

    Old content are still valuable. Especially if they're evergreen content. But, search engine like fresh contents. When you place new content to your website, it keeps your site fresh in the search engine memory. Old site with new content having high priority than the new site.

    Add some "From the archives" type posts to your blog, on days when you aren't posting anything else.
    Add a related articles widget. There is code out there for how to do this manually (manually selecting which articles are related) but it would be custom and need you to go to each post and link the articles. Or more advanced made a related posts plugin that looks for linked articles and falls back to category or tags when there aren't enough. I'm planning this for a Wordpress site I'm building but haven't made it yet.
