how to rank high on msn...method explained

DO you put your link in post itself and if so do you do that as anchor text? (And if you also use it as name would you then not stick your link in post)?

Does this help with google as well? Thank you.

Punisher,

What url do you link back to from the comment?

Do you link back to the index, or a specific page on your site?

Wow this is great!
I just bookmarked this post for later questions :)
Thank you

Does MSN really convert better then Google? i.e. Is it proven?

im linking to my home page...

yeah it does to me, i have a mobile site that ranks well on G, and this computer site that ranks well on MSN, MSN one converts better

Do you put your url at end of your comment with anchor text if people aren't doing it as their name? And does blog commenting work for google/yahoo or mostly msn? Thanks.

Did you insert your anchor text in the NAME field or dropped the links in the comments ? also did you try to send trackbacks on these blogs ?

welll wont achiving results for google get you high on MSN as welll.. as anyways you will be doing the same for google as welll...

No. This can easily be verified by searching terms on MSN and then on Google. I don't even think it is blog commenting to be honest, MSN just loves spam. Pretty much any backlink building will work.

MSN is the cream of the crop in terms of conversion, with the possible exception of AOL. I get crazy CTR on adsense.

You also have to DO THE MATH. Google currently has 60% of the search engine market, while MSN has about 10%.

So if a term gets 1,000 searches a day on Google, divide by six, 167 searches a day for that term.

Just make sure you pick a COMPETITIVE TERM. If you pick a term with exact match in google traffic estimator sandbox with 100+ you should be fine.

I will show you examples that used to rank first, but the guy apparently stopped updating them.
Code:
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=walking+shoes
Result #5
Code:
www.walking-shoes.org
This used to be #1

How much traffic would the number one spot get? It is hard to estimate but I would be guessing at least 30 visitors a day.

All this guy did and I have seen him do it with a ton of terms is register a domain with the exact keyword with a hyphen, and spam it with 400 backlinks or so. Have anchor links linking back to your main page.

I have CTR in my finance niches around 25%.
So lets do the math here......

Google = 6 times more traffic
Therefore lets say a site in first in google gets 100 a day for a random term. CTR rate is 10%.
MSN = 17 hits a day CTR is 25%
Each click is worth 1$

4$ a day MSN
10$ a day on Google.

So you see...there is less difference between Google and MSN traffic than you think. Except wait, you can rank for competitive terms in MSN with no effort, even using 1 page sites.

MSN doesn't care about link bursting.

Not to mention you aren't Google's b*#ch. I recommend it is part of a strategy of diversification.

So in short, here is what I know about MSN.

1.) Register the exact domain name, use hyphens.
2.) Make sure keyword is moderately competitive.
3.) Create an overoptimized small site, one page is fine, but five pages is good as well.
--This means title and H1 are both your keyword. Bold keywords. Have keywords anchor back to your main page. The stuff google would penalize you for in excess.
4.) Link burst the hell out of it using AMA, UAW, or whatever spun article crappy backlinks.

Just go out and do it. The worst you have to lose is 7$ for a domain and an hour and a half of your time.

Pretty much the only way you can fail is by selecting a keyword term that is too small. Or of course selecting a term that is too big, don't use something
stupid like "make money online".

Consider the following...MSN gets almost 1 BILLION searches a month. 1 Billion divided by 1,000 would be 1,000,000.

Microsoft has pretty much just given up on fixing its search engine so I wouldn't worry about algorithms changing.

P.S. This does not take anywhere close to three months.

Here is a search engine hack for the exact method.
Save yourself 67$.
Code:
http://www.rankingloophole.com/msncode1/ordercomplete3.php?from=newman5%40prodigy.net&meta_adtracking=&meta_message=1&meta_required=from&meta_split_id=&meta_web_form_id=798387501&name=Frank%20Newman&submit=Submit%20and%20Go%20To%20The%20%26quot%3BLoophole%26quot%3B%20%26gt%3B%26gt%3B&unit=loopholes

If that doesn't work, just do a
Code:
site:www.rankingloophole.com
and find the download link.

Remember google traffic estimator results for exact match x5 is a good baseline.
If google shows 50 searches a day, multiple by 5 and divide by 6 = average 42 hits a day for first place in MSN search.

Try to target terms without ad verticals for even more traffic.

Thanks appreciated. Funniest part is that almost no one seems to actually do this stuff which is pure gold. Guess all the SEO experts are worrying about Google instead of diversifying. Difference between MSN and Google, is that MSN won't jerk your chain and simply drop you from 1st to 10th because of random fluctuations in their algorithm.

wow that seems like a simple enough method.:)
this will work well if you have uwcs.Heeheehee

i noticed that everyone was targetting G for their traffic and not msn, well about 6 months back i tried to rank number 1 for a competitive keyword on msn.

The keyword im targeting has a competition of 22,700,000, and i am number 2 for that keyword. pretty decent eh? :)

K so what i did was buy a brand new domain, and since this was an experiment and i wanted to rank high on msn. i did not want to do a variety of random things like i do with my other sites..

so i started blog commenting, all i did was comment on related blogs, using softwares like comment kahunna and comment sniper, free softwares.

i kept this up for a bout 3 months and then left it.

Site explorer shows 473 inlinks to my site. and these were very easy to achieve i used to do 10 sites per day. thats only 10 valid and non-spammy comments a day this would take about 30 min of my time per day.

now after doing that, i just left my site, not because i got tired or something, because i have a short attention span and started another site :)

and believe me when i say that i have not touched that site since those 3 months, and the domain is about an year old now.. so thats only 3 months of easy no make that damn easy work to rank you high on serps.

and seriously i can now say that msn traffic is the best traffic, they convert better than google traffic.

i have been stable on position 2 for the past 6 months... doing nothing at all..

so there u guys have it, msn loves blog comments :)

hope i helped u guys with this little case study of mine.. hit the thanks button if i did :D

Thank you so F'ing Much!

This is exactly why they ranked my site high in the SERPs!

i've been trying to figure it out, lol.
