How to rank faster on Google?

I'm writing on trending news and I will really like my content ranking on Google faster, just like these

my content takes an hour to get indexed but takes days to get shown on Google, by then it'll no longer be relevant.

I also noticed this with "news" sites. It's indexed and showing up as soon as the story breaks.

I believe it's just depends on the site metrics. I would assume a well known site gets more attention etc to indexed and shown within an hour.

If you have a google news approved site then it will get indexed within 10 minutes.
