How to Rank Fast with Zero Backlinks?

I'm trying to rank my pages on Google but don’t have any backlinks yet. I’ve worked on the content and on-page SEO, but still not seeing good results.
Is it possible to rank without backlinks in 2025?
If yes, can you suggest some ways that actually work?
Target low-competition keywords, nail your on-page SEO, and write content that actually helps users. Fast-loading pages and internal linking also make a big difference early on.

Your keyword research is going to need to be absolutely on-point; ranking these days without budget or links or tricker than even. Look for low competition terms which have DA 10 or less sites listed on P1. Then look to create better content, to at least the length of the average number of words per article on page one.

Yes, you can rank without backlinks if you treat your page like a product- make it the best answer on the internet for that specific query. Focus on intent, depth and speed. Google notices.

Yes, it’s still possible—especially if you target low-competition, long-tail keywords. Make sure your content is super helpful, fast-loading, and well-structured. Add internal links and use schema markup. Also, try posting on forums or Reddit to get early traffic signals.

Focus on publishing high-quality, manually written articles targeting the right keywords, avoid using AI-generated content. If you're in a highly competitive niche, building some backlinks is essential to improve your rankings.

If the one condition it's without backlinks at all, I would say that on-page SEO will be the king here, edit your META properly, Title, description and images names.

Sure you can.
Low competition keywords are your valuable friends.

Ranking with zero backlinks in 2025 is tough but not impossible. Proper content and on-page SEO are important steps, but you might need a bit of luck for rankings to improve. Offering truly valuable and unique content to your target audience, optimizing page speed, and ensuring mobile compatibility are key factors. Also, being active on social media, getting shares, and generating engagement can help boost rankings. Still, for the best results, you should consider adding solid backlinks in the long run.

You can still rank with back links if you use long tail keywords, optimize your content, and make sure your pages load quickly.

Yes, you can still rank without backlinks in 2025 — but it depends on the niche + keyword difficulty

Use tools like LowFruits, Keyword Chef, or Ahrefs to find long-tail keywords with low competition. These keywords often have little to no backlink requirements to rank.

It's impossible with zero backlinks. First, you need to acquire backlinks from a few high DA/PA sites and let them settle. Then, if the site ranks, send keyword-based traffic; if it doesn't, send referral traffic. That's the solution.

The websites which I seen that rank on google without having good amount of backlinks and lack of good onpage SEO are mostly blackhat. I recently seen a blog which got ranking for more than 27k high competitive keywords within 5-10 days. They bough a low DA expired domain with 20 root domain backlinks, started posting from 10th April and till now they have only 130 blog posts, more than 200 tag pages with duplicate content. All urls are indexed and driving huge amount of traffic from Google search and Google discover. The website is ranking single keyword like "jio", "airtel" etc. Don't know till when that website will sustain on Google, but pocketing good money.
That's exactly what i see and i have to compete with. All that crap about good quality content and no AI written content. Bulshit, the top 10 in google in the Netherlands is dominated by these kind of expired domains most medical related and are all AI written and i mean very bad AI written. Very hard to compete with.

Low competitive keywords. And I mean really low, possibly in alternative languages. They can quickly rank

It’s definitely possible to rank without backlinks but usually only for low competition or ultra specific long tail keywords. If you’ve already nailed content and on-page SEO, the next layer is user behavior. Focus on improving click through rate, time on site, and content depth. Google rewards content that satisfies search intent, even without heavy link juice.
