NoFollow means doesn;t allow search engine bot to follow the link, so it doesn't pass the link juice.
You can see if it is d0follow/n0follow by inspecting the html code and see if there is rel=”nofollow” is used for the link. Or use NoDoFollow mozilla plugin
It is said to use a mix-up of do-follow and no-follow web 2.0 to be more natural

Great thread. I would to say there are lot of ways to increase traffic of your website or blog. As you said blog comments are a good way of getting traffic if you do linkbuilding with blog comments manually and according to your niche. Blog comments should be in relevant niche and do not be spammy!

ATTN NEWBIES: For the other newbies, like me, who read this and thought "I don't get this, I'm going to ignore it": DON'T.
After a month of depressing messing around trying various strategies to drive traffic to my cam whitelabel, I realised my mistake: this post was VERY applicable and I still hadn't done STEP ONE - KW research.
You see, I thought that having a generic whitelabel meant I don't have to worry about keywords. People will just find the site, right, because it has cams and people want cams? Right? Wrong. So wrong.
Now I'm seeing the interplay between ranking for SEO ties right back to other concepts like web 2.0s and PBNs, and I'm taking a huge step back from the technology to focus on the business basics and doing my homework.
I reckon I'm still going to refer back to this post months from now.

My question, since I am new to SEO, is how I apply my keywords in my content properly? I don't want to sound like a damn robot by reusing the same long tail keyword over and over or in several places at least. How to make content based on KW?????
