Hello, I am trying to sell my product on eBay. There is a lot of competition for this kind of product and I received only 40views in 1 week (probably half of them were from me..).

I was wondering if there is some tips to rank on the 1st page for my keywords?

Could it be usefull to buy backlinks? if yes, what kind?

Could it be usefull to buy trafic? if yes, what kind?

Thanks in advance guys

Thanks for your answer!

What is "eBay ranker" exactly?

Unfortunately google didn't allow me to rank for yet.. maybe I have to search more, but I was hoping to find here something more, that I could not find on google maybe..

I know you can pay people for views and watchers which helps bump your listing.

Did you try using the promoted listings ? to get a few sales, more sales eBay will bump your normal listing up aswell.

Hi, thanks for your answer!

I thought about the promoted listing but I did try it for yet because I don't have a pro seller account, and I am not sure yet if it worth it are not to pay the 20€ monthly without guarantee to sell, but it could be an option.

About buying views, this could be interesting! do you know where it is possible to find this kind of service? and if there is a risk to be detected and penalized?

The promoted listing works well, i dont know how crowded your product area is. It usually puts you to the right top of the first page, but this depends on how many other sellers are using it. If only 1 or 2 other sellers are using it then it works really well.

Check the marketplace to see if anyone on here is doing that.

I have seen it on other forums, i'l get a warning for ''Promoting other forums'' if i dare to mention them.

Thanks again for your answer!

There is about 57k results for my keyword, and I am seeing 3 sponsorised listing in the first page. It could be a good option since I will need to pay the extra cost for promotion only if I sell..
However my product is 4-5x more expansive than all the listing in the first page, I hope it will not be a problem because I've read that ebay is giving visibility to cheapest products in priority..

Gonna check the marketplace as well

Thanks for the help man

Buying reviews and sending traffic also brings the listing up, you can use a lot of tools to send views.

Hi, thanks for your answer!
Don't you think there is any risk to do that?
For example if I buy views is it possible that eBay see that and penalize me? or even that potential customers see that review are fake?
The same question about sending traffic, and for example is there any risk that ebay brings the listing down if there a lot of views but no sales? it could analyse the product as not relevant if the conversion rate is very low no?

I did set up the promoted listing with 20% comission rate, I'm waiting for the results

There maybe some risk, it depends how the seller is giving you the views and watchers etc and ebay's detection system.

So it would be good to go with a seller with good reviews, having said that i have used these services before without issues.

Tempting! Mind telling me what else are in that sub?

Just getting views will likely push your listing down in the search. Ebay views that as a sign that people don't actually want to purchase your listing.

You mean ranking on ebay's inside pages or google page?

Hey, OP! There is a plenty of info on the internet how to do SEO on eBay. I would recommend to check out CrazyLister blog, very useful info there to learn about how eBay search engine works and about different tactics. Just google "eBay SEO: How to Boost Your Visibility on eBay & Rank #1"
