- Channels need to have uploaded at least one eligible Short in the last 180 days.
- Channels need to abide by
- Channels uploading videos with watermarks or logos from third-party social media platforms, non-original videos (for example, unedited clips from movies or TV shows), or videos reuploaded from other creator’s channels will not be eligible.
- Creators must be 13 or older in the United States, or the age of majority in their country/region.
- Creators 13–18 years old must have a parent or guardian accept terms and set up an AdSense account for payment when one isn’t already linked to their channel.
- Creators must be in one of these countries/regions in parts of African, Europe and Asia.

Your videos should get millions of views to be eligible for shorts fund. It is very hard to achieve and require very crisp and entertaining videos .
Youtube Staff manually review your channel monthly. They base on your previous month preformance to determine your following month fund.
There is no way to use black hat method to get in the fund. They have advanced system to look at your traffic and data.
The best way to make good organic contents and have organic growth.
It is. Youtube has already noticed the amount of stolen contents from tiktok and reupload to Youtube. Thanks for the new media exposed that last year. They make the shorts fund more difficult to get now.

they will allow it maybe for year or so and then when tiktok will not be absolute leader they will not allow reuploading and stealing content for shortspaisawaisa

A lot of views are needed for this. Actually so many views are needed that it is possible only for certain type of videos like comedy.
it is the way. Youtube shorts want more data and make the algorithm better. I make my own content and build the channel in organic way. Good thing is Youtube is watching my channel and unlock good feature for my channel. It makes me easier to gain subscribers. I am satisfied that, but I am not happy with the mess of video section now. Shorts videos mix with longer form video. Lots of creators complain about it.Maybe it a tactic to get some market from tiktok. Now i Know many people who used tiktok surfing YT for same etertainment with short videos
I uploaded like 8 shorts with beautiful videos but I got 0 views. How so ?

Impossible, I upload crap shorts with stolen videos and literally gain views from shorts feed as soon as they are posted. Shorts algo is easier than breathing in and out. Literally posted this video 2 hours ago.

I recommend to not watch your own videos tho. I leave them at 0 views and they explode. Maybe you watch your own videos too much, so YouTube thinks you are cheating?

If I saw these videos on my shorts feed, I would immediately skip or pass. They seem not provide any value. It looks like some sort of boring traveling videos from Instagram. Sorry for being honest.

yep u are right who in 2022 will ever watch those videos u need the short videos to be as stupid as it can be , i cant show my channel but man its so stupid that my iq goes down everytime i have to make those videos BUT i have video with over 50m views
