You need to be Jr. VIP but you can only become one after 60 days and 100 posts. It costs $97 to be a Jr.VIP and $30 to post a sales thread. If you don't want to go through this process you can pay $499 right now to post a sales thread. You can pay in the account upgrades section.

I will suggest to be a little active on the forum and take part in discussions. It will give you more exposure and along with that, it will also make you learn a lot of things. At the same time, once you touch 100 posts mark, you will be promoted to Junior VIP.

Its not like that , For Jr.vip you need to have 100 post and pay 97$ donation then only you get promoted to BHW.
If OP pays right now he / she will be Donor / Premium Member not Jr.vip.

It is so you get some reputation as a valuable member so people trust you enough to buy from you.
If you are brand spanking new and have not added any value to the forum people are going to shy away from buying from you as this is a virtual community and the only thing we can go on is how you contribute here.
I understand you want to sell and make some money but you won't make much if you open a sales thread without some added value before hand.
The rule, is in part, there to help you out.
