filing the actual LLC is fast, usually takes like 2 or 3 days in Wyoming or New Mexico if you go through a registered agent. the real bottleneck is always getting the EIN from the IRS. if you don't have an SSN or ITIN, they have to fax the SS-4 form and that can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on how backed up they are. don't waste money on services promising 24 hour turnkey setups because they can't bypass the IRS wait times anyway.
