How to open port 25 on OVH?

Hi guys,

I have been sending email campaigns from my SMTP on ovh and I've got a message from ovh that port 25 has been blocked for suspected spamming (they are absolutely right ). They sent me a link from which I could unblock port 25 after reviewing my activities but the link doesn't work. I did try to find a place in my virtual ovh dashboard where I could unblock port 25 but couldn't find it.

Could someone tell me where to unblock this port?

I believe the port had been blocked on the hardware layer (firewalls that are actually there inside the data center).
As you've mentioned the spamming, unfortunately, I don't think there would be a quick fix for this problem. Although they're famous for not having decent support, you should still hit them up by email or the "Create a Ticket" section inside the manager area.

They have the worst support ever. You're right, I'll create a ticket and hopefully they'll help.

if you're really using it for spamming, then you have to forget about it
you can try your luck by checking iptable, and IPs section in the dedicated server panel

Click the dots at the right for the server/VPS ip, then click configure firewall

once the port is blocked by hardware firewall, you cannot open it from the OS.
Spamming is not allowed on almost every hosting provider

Keep contacting them and explain the situation. Or change the provider.
The solution is on the side of your provider.
