I've had a look what i haven't been able to work out is how to bypass the force activation screen, i think telling it is premium and activated is done by modifying this code

As mentioned earlier, the "Alister Bank" theme runs without a license. This is about the "Multibank" theme.

The theme can be activated with no problem but unlike other themes, the author's server is not handing any template without a license.

Moreover, this is an Elementor theme, so if you activate the theme and use the main design (plain) you will be able to create with Elementor, but I guess that the attractive thing about these themes is that they have a demo design where you can get going from, instead of doing it from scratch.

A good reason not to try it nulled? If you forget that the demos will not download and try any of them (3), the WP admin will keep going in a loop where it might not recover because the demo-install function modifies the database. If that happens, you might need to install WordPress again.

A second good reason? I had to boot the localhost in PHP v7.2 because the theme did not want to run in PHP v8.2, so it will be obsolete in a matter of time if is not updated.

That all been said, if you wish to try it, just use the code below:

So if what you need depends on that function, just "return true;" at the beginning of the function.

That function alone is defeated like in the example below but I think there might be more things to it in the rest of the plugin and the logic of the whole plugin must be studied first.

I wasn't sure if it was just a case of activating it by nulling the code, or if there is a Bricks add-on plugin as I haven't seen one when searching around.
