Hi guys. In the past you have helped me with a lot of great ideas. 99% of the money I made so far is because of this great community.

So....

I have a site that offers free websites in exchange for hosting fees. It's a great source of income but I am thinking of stepping it up a notch.

I was thinking of making an ebook about how to make your own website. Give it for free and place hostgator affiliate links in it and make $50 when people get hosting.

Do you guys have any ideas on how to improve this, or make more cash?

Thank you. Will make a symbolic $10 donation to the person with the best tip.

Note: I am from Romania so CPA offers is not possible.

anyone?

well ebooks spread really quick if they are well written and simple at the same time... so you can give it a try! what do you have to lose? some time thats all!

and after you make the ebook make a simple website selling it for like 17,99 and then go into every forum you know related to making money and even warez foruns and post your ebook for free and mention it is at 17,99 on that website.... that makes people want to read the ebook ^^

good luck

I would put together a video, put it in a thumb drive, then sell together with the thumb drive : )

@greatusa thanks for the "sell it somewhere and give if for free elsewhere tip"

@greatusa AWESOME IDEA with the thumb drive!

1) Go to yellowpages.com pick up a city or state and make a list of local business that don't have their own website. When you are done with your list go to fiverr and place a gig for someone in the same state/city to place phone calls for you for $5. You can get someone to do about 15-20 calls for you for that fee which is a pretty good deal. Give him a nice pre-written script and you should be able to get a few sales.

2) Scrape the local business listings in craigslist and backpage and email them your offer.

I would not only put in the hostagtor link, I would put a link in for MNF (it's a clickbank product) and perhaps some SEO tools with whom you can become an affiliate.

Also, I would offer a handful of free templates that they could dL from your site to
make it even easier for the reader.

Of course on your site you cold have premium templates that the viewer can buy if the free ones did not suit them and also they could sign up for your free newsletter on SEO via an opt in link and you could be building a list at the same time.

@haspel thanks for the advice, but I am not looking for new clients for the moment.

I was just looking for an idea to create a passive income on the side using the same site.

god, i wish godaddy would give commissions to affiliates for recommending a domain sale :)

Just up-sell your clients to your "website management service" for $10-$20 a month.

I like this idea... :D

I did this thing once with bukisa.

Wrote a book and gave it for free and people would register under my affiliate link and I would get 25% of what they earn.

this was a great disappointment.

about 50 people got registered under me with about 1-2 articles each. and i 6 months I made $0.62 :)

At least I managed to build a 400 members list :)

make it, "how to make a website, and make money with the website" or some crap, and also add your affiliate links to affiliate networks on there, tell them about banner placements on there websites. make money off of there websites through there new affiliate accounts along with the hostgator/godaddy affiliate links.

@howdoyou

man, I respect your intention, but you didn't say anything new :)

my bad, just spit something out.

how about throwing up some aff links to script sites. new website + script for ease of website management.

from my experience recurring billing and list building works best. besides hosting what else would you pay a monthly fee for?
