From my observations living for a long time in Gulf area I could say #1 - they are extremely conscious about money - may be forex can do.
#2 - is luxury items. I was told that people are taking loans in the bank to buy Hermes bag and so on. Total show off. They are also interested in super expensive diamonds.
Also I was told that women from reach families should have at least 365 outfits for parties to never repeat and it's a big problem for them to find the right super-expensive dress.
It's another world strange for westerners
