How to monetize an urban college campus

I live downtown in a fairly large city directly across the street from a medium-sized college campus. I literally see both kids and adults walking around campus right now through my window. In fact, I can look through the windows of the building across the street and see kids in class.

I've tried handing out flyers with QR codes or website addresses with affiliate links, but those didn't even earn a dime. I'm curious if anybody has any tips or ideas on how to make money off these kids -- and lots of adults returning to school, as well. Once I can generate a successful idea, scaling up would be essentially easy due to all the kids looking for jobs nearby.

distribute cpa flyers for like scholarships or movies or some shit like that.If ur too lazy outsource it...pay some guys to distribute the flyers...sit and watch as money comes rolling in:cool:
 
maybe some sort of savings program for textbooks? maybe you could join an affiliate program for vaporizers and sell vaporizers and other smoking devices.
 
I tried the flyers for scholarships before, but it was pretty low-scale. I just saw an offer from a local print shop that will print 5,000 full-color 5x7 postcards and even hand them out for me (with a report of where they handed them and where they posted them) for just $525..... Pretty tempting offer! I guess I should start looking for a promising CPA.
 
yh definately look into CPA offers...especially like giftcards,itune cards...or like book deals...just search for stuff that is relevant to them...make it look legit..and ul definately bank:)....u could even like iframe offers and put like "College Name" Students Only...make it personal to increase conversions:cool:

I like this idea. Maybe flyers pertaining to things students need? Laptops, books, etc.
 
You probably need a more interesting CPA offer. Something tied to the big game might generate interest. Also, you might consider creating an email list that you can send coupons to for local businesses. For example a bar and a free drink coupon for their slowest night. Hope this helps good luck!
 
web cam affiliates, tell them that if they are over 18 they can earn thousands a day, both men and women. its completely anonymous etc etc

get 10% of their profits, set and forget income stream!
 
Don't just think about what you can sell TO them, but think about what you can sell using students as your employees.

It's pretty easy to get a handful of designers, artists, whatever together to start creating WP templates or websites that you can then sell to clients or on ThemeForest or whatever. Think of these guys as your army of cheap labor instead of someone that you will have to do an hour's work just to get them to sign up to a $3 CPA.

Think bigger.
