I saw a comment under a thread about a crypto youtube channel and that you can earn money (aside from ad revenue) with referral and affiliate links. I want to give this a shot but I have no idea where to start, so I'm hoping there are some people here who have experience in this who can help me out. I want to know how a small channel can generate an income by doing this method, and if it's really worth the effort if you don't have tens of thousands of subscribers already.

I would say if you want to make some long term income go for affilate program on bybit/mexc or other exchanges.
(do some tutorials how to start/create account and make sure to have good SEO on these videos so they will appear when someone will look for XYZ how to create account/deposit/withdraw)
If you want just moneygrab get some sponsorships with upcoming project(thats what I do find deals and close for other creators). With these type of deals you can make $100-$5,000 per video easily even more if you are bigger creator :)

+ ofc you can try to create your own community and sell acces to paid group or signals(but then you need some proofs of your results etc + run other socials like ig/tiktok)

You can promote exchanges in videos. Make video targeting them so that you get related leads.

You can do sponsorship with some exchange . For this first make a free video for any exchange and then show them results. They will then give you sponsorship deals.

Promote smaller exchanges that does not require KYC
And Redotpay affilliate program

There are lots of people looking for KYC-free exchanges and a credit card with USDT
Do you have some list of the KYC- free exchanges?

mexc(best offer rn as for affilates) + few others (if you want to join their partner program or need any help just dm me I can help you :) )
It seems that mexc is a new exchange? There are not many reviews about it yet.

It's perfectly feasible for a small YouTube channel to make money through referrals and affiliate links, even if you don't have tens of thousands of subscribers yet. The key to affiliate marketing is to find products or services that are relevant to your channel's topic and promote those products naturally in your videos. For example, if your channel is about tech reviews, you can promote electronics; If it's a lifestyle channel, you can recommend household items.
While the initial revenue may not be very high, it will gradually increase as the channel grows and the audience increases.

Tips:

  • Consistency is Key: Regular content uploads help grow your audience over time.
  • Keep Learning: Stay informed about the crypto space and YouTube algorithm changes to adapt your content strategy as needed.
  • Community Building: Focus on building a loyal community rather than just seeking direct monetization.

I think you can start by joining a few crypto affiliate programs and adding those links into your content, like in reviews or tutorials. As you keep at it, you’ll start seeing your earnings grow, even if you don’t have a huge following.
