How do you know this for a fact? He could be telling the truth, and I think he is correct just from my fellow seo experts and my own pr testing recently... It has only been 30-60 days since google slapped so many sites and made so many changes, Even the top experts are still doing testing to find out what works and what does not.... Try to find one well known seo expert that will say that PR is as valuable as your saying it is now...
I am not trying to be a jerk just trying to get people to not get hung up on the page rank its self... If you do that you will fail in seo and I.M, And that is a fact...
Thanks for continuing to bump my thread, but if you're going to continue to do so, could you at least provide some value?
Why would he lie unless he was trolling like you? I didn't get the impression that he was trolling at all.
Funny how in your last post, you degraded the value of pr links, and now in this one, you're agreeing with rockong about how well they work, based on your "own pr testing". That literally made me laugh out loud.
The initial Panda update was in February. That would make it 4 months since "google slapped so many sites and made so many changes". That's considerably more than 30-60 days.
I imagine a simple google search or two would reveal a "well known seo expert that will say that PR is as valuable" as I'm saying it is now, but it doesn't matter if I find one or not. The reason it doesn't matter is because I know for a fact that it's as valuable as I'm saying it is. I've repeatedly witnessed it work as well as I say it does. And even if that weren't so, it still wouldn't matter. The value of an item or service is that which people are willing to pay for it. People pay a lot of money for high PR links, therefore, high PR is valuable.
For someone who is not trying to be a jerk, I'd say you're... how do I put this so simply that even you can understand... you're failing.
I never said that people should get hung up on pagerank. You're missing the entire point of this thread. I personally know people who have high PR pages, and they don't know how to use that PR to their advantage. They don't even know that they can make money just off of the PR. I also know that if I know people like that then certainly there are more people like them. The point of this thread was to help those people.
