How to: leave a direct message

There are any number of reasons why you might want to leave a direct message. Maybe you want to tidy up your inbox, maybe the direct message has come to a natural end, or maybe you've just had enough of the other person. Whatever your reasons, it couldn't be easier to leave a direct message.

Click on the direct message you want to leave. At the very top of the direct message, before any of the posts, there will be a menu on the right hand side:



Click 'Leave' and a pop-up window will appear so that you can specify your preferences:



Choose whether or not you want to accept future messages from this member by ticking the appropriate option and then click 'Leave'. This direct message will then disappear from your inbox. The other participants will not be notified that you have left the direct message.

You need 15 posts in order to message members here. Please keep in mind, posts in the lounge do NOT count towards your post count.

Also, don't post spammy or one-worded responses in an attempt to reach the 15-post threshold; this could result in a removal of your posts, an infraction, or both.
