I'm using an smtp on AWS with a particular domain. I paid someone to set it up. Anyway, all the messages end up in spam (but come through) and I cannot receive mails, which he says is a firewall issue that can be fixed.

How can I know what's the problem? Senderscore.org just says SPF is not configured, no mentions of blacklist. Some other rep checking websites won't let me connect and gave me an access denied error, which makes me think it could be the IP.

I'm a noob at this stuff. Anyone here with any wisdom? What should I do?

You can always get web hosting and private IP than create own reputation step by step. It will cost you around 36€/year but you making own IP reputation.

IP address blacklist check in whatsmyipaddress and other similar service could help. Also, verify if it is something like a restriction from your provider.

Go to http://www.anti-abuse.org/multi-rbl-check/ and enter your IP and click on Check. Also, http://multirbl.valli.org/ has more servers to check against.

Why don't you check blacklist option on this site **Whatismyipaddress***? This way report will be given to you in no time.

Why not build a smtp using vps? More likely to send 89k to 100k a day. Pretty easy ..... Go to mxtoolbox to check your domain and ip if your ip is listed on blacklist

Thank you all. It's not blacklisted; it's fine. What then do I need to do in order to deliver mail into inbox? Maybe just warm up the IP?

Isn't AWS like a VPS? I paid someone to build me the SMTP on windows on an AWS server.
